With increasing demand for temporary solutions for roadworks and major events, Altron has developed a range of pre-cast foundations that fully comply with HA standards and industry standard foundation requirements. Based on our knowledge gained from rapid deployable products for the telecoms industry, we cast foundations in house at our factory, keeping close control over the process and ship UK wide using specialist vehicles for offloading.

PCF - Pre Cast Foundations
 

Altron pre cast foundations are cast in house within a closely controlled process, to ensure a high quality of casting. We can produce pre cast foundations to suit all product types, where the foundation loading complies with our standard PCF sizes.

PCF cylinder

Cylindrical PCF - Pre Cast Foundations
 

Altron Cylindrical pre cast foundations are made to order to the specific size required. Sizes are not restricted by mould size availability, so the sizes that can be produced are far more flexible than for our standard pre cast foundations. 

Manufacture of the cylinder shell and foundation casting takes place in house within a closely controlled process, to ensure a high quality of casting. We can produce pre cast foundations to suit all product types, where the foundation loading complies with the Cylindrical PCF loading limits.

  • Cylindrical PCF sizes available up to Ø1600
  • Large project quantities can be rolled out effectively due to not having to rely on mould strip and re-setting. 1300 of these were supplied successfully within tight project timescales for the London 2012 Olympics
  • Square or rectangular roadside/equipment cabinet plinth options available 
  • Powder coated shell finish provides an aesthetic appearance with a smooth surface, suitable to public area events
  • Shell produced in either stainless steel for longevity or mild steel for reduced cost
  • Powder coated finish to any RAL and BS colour
  • Available with or without cable service ducts
  • All standard product holding down arrangements available
  • Non standard holding down arrangements available on request
